Rice, 31, starred collegiately at Georgia Tech and played professionally for a year in the NBA D-League, leading the Rio Grande Valley Vipers to a championship, before being drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2013 NBA draft. He has subsequently played for the Washington Wizards as well as numerous overseas clubs. Despite suffering an injury on Saturday at the OBL Atlanta Regional, Rice came back to win the event on Sunday to earn the $10,000 cash prize and qualify for the OBL Finals.
